Daniel Recht

Hi there! I´m Daniel and I'm from Argentina. If I have to recall when my passion for outdoor adventure begun I would say it was inherited by my parents, who used to take me to the mountains for long hikes and camping as soon as I was ready to walk.

I developed myself as a creative digital art director for more than 4 years when I decided to take a break. I needed a change and go back to what really made me happy. It was so, that I left my old agency job and bought a ticket to Spain for a fresh start.

I define myself as a person who does not believe that much in casualties and that same Christmas, one present, one book, changed it all. The chronicles from a Spaniard who cycled from Sydney to Perth. I had already bought my ticket to Australia and in that same week, lost my wallet with my driving license! Things couldn't be more clear for me.

Since then I immersed myself in the world of bike touring, doing my first long distance experience in the Australian Outback. The more I got into touring, by doing more adventures and connecting with other cyclists, the more confident I got of adopting it as my new way of life to discover the world. Mixing it with my amateur passion for photography, filming and my studies in the digital advertising world, I find myself now planning the next big adventure: Going round the whole of Australia by bike.
